On top of that since last week I'm also now seeing another unrelated problem with the Epic Launcher. It's their responsibility to speak to EA and vice versa, to ensure Origin works properly with their store, not mine. I'm not happy at all with how Epic has handled this. I also filed it as a bug report for the game itself incase that might get a better response: The details of the problem are given here and shown in image and video form: I've even had Epic support trying to advise me on how to make Fortnite work, which is ridiculous as this problem has nothing to do with Fortnite! A game I don't even play! The problem is with the Epic Store and Origin not my PC. I don't have any issues with my games on GOG, Steam, Uplay etc. My library of free games from the Epic Store, including ones from Ubisoft install/work fine.
My games independently bought work fine in Origin, I can login/install fine etc.
But nothing, and it's beyond the ability of the people who man the EA support web chats. I've cleared web caches, and gone through and submitted launcher/dxdiag/msinfo logs to both Epic and EA. Another user with the same issue is now seemingly being ignored by EA support. Epic support keeps pushing me to EA support, when its obvious they need to speak to each other to fix some problem with their launcher integrations. I bought Starwars Squadrons on Epic over the Christmas sales weeks ago, and I still can't even install the game.
